Package/Project Engineer

As Project Engineer – Equipment deliveries, you will:

  • Act as equipment package engineer in plant or equipment delivery projects
  • Manage, plan and coordinate the equipment package engineering, technical purchasing and manufacturing according to main project plan so that financial, time schedule and quality objectives, and also customer satisfaction, are achieved
  • Write needed equipment package specifications
  • Report monthly of equipment packages status to stakeholders
  • Operate as interface between equipment manufacturer and project
  • Arrange expediting and inspections, and arrange information for forwarding
  • Arrange supplier document reviews and acceptances
  • Support site work and when needed participate supervision and commissioning
  • Apply effectively OT’s Business processes and tools

To succeed, you will need:

  • Bachelor (B.Sc.) or Master (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical engineering, Metallurgy or similar
  • Experience in project work
  • Experience in engineering 
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate assertively
  • Good knowledge of common Office software, knowledge of SAP ERP and Enovia are a benefit
  • Good communication skills in English 
  • Strong team working skills
