HSE Officer

🔎 We are looking for:

We are looking for an HSE Officer for our customer's project in Sweden. The work begins in May 2025 and lasts approximately 6 months. The role requires fluent Swedish skills.

📍 Location: Gothenburg, Sweden 

📝 As HSE Officer, you will:

• Manage and coordinate all HSE-related activities on-site to ensure a safe working environment. This includes risk assessments, safety inspections, audits, and accident investigations.
• Prepare and update all necessary HSE documentation, such as safety plans, reports, and records in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Guide the project management team on HSE policy and guidelines, ensuring that safety is a key consideration in all project planning and execution phases.
• Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness among all personnel. Ensure that all employees are adequately trained, understand HSE standards, and are motivated to actively engage in safe work practices.

🏆 To succeed, you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or an equivalent field) along with relevant professional qualifications in Health, Safety, and Environment.
• Proven experience in an HSE role, ideally in a construction or industrial environment, with a demonstrated ability to manage HSE responsibilities in a complex, fast-paced project setting.
• Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams, providing clear guidance and leadership on HSE matters.
• Deep understanding of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices, and the ability to apply this knowledge to enhance site safety.
• Capability of assessing risks, identifying potential hazards, and implementing practical solutions to mitigate them.
