Operations Manager
🔎 We are looking for:
an Operations Manager to strengthen our production services in Vaasa. We are looking for an experienced industrial professional who will be responsible in leading production and assembly teams. Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. With a focus on implementing strategic goals, process improvements, and leadership, the person is in charge for driving operational excellence and overall success of the service unit.
We hope this person could start in August or September.
📍 Location: Vaasa
✅ Main responsibilities:
Develop and execute manufacturing that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. implement targets to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Manage the operations of the manufacturing including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation as well as efficiency, productivity, and profitable work.
Implement and enforce quality control measures in co-operation with HSEQ to ensure that manufactured products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
Manage health and safety in service unit in co-operation with colleagues and support functions.
Lead the overall service setup to secure high care and high-performance culture development
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, industry standards, and quality management systems, such as ISO certifications.
💡You will succeed if:
You have experience in managing, developing and delivering the service according to strategic targets, contracts and customer expectations (safety, quality, efficiency and cost etc.)
You have a track record of managing costs and profitability according to budget and estimates
You have experience in supervisor or management positions in an industrial environment
You speak and write fluent Finnish and English
You have a technical degree or equivalent and/or over 5 years of experience in similar position
